BankMail

The BankMail module allows Bankwest Online Banking users to communicate by electronic mail with staff at Bankwest.

BankMail Inbox is unique to each Bankwest Online Banking user.

Sensitive information should be sent by private email, fax or post.

Bankwest is commited to a 48 hour turn-around (on business working days) on received BankMail messages to reply or action your request.

If an email address is supplied under User Maintenance area, we will forward a message to this e-mail address whenever a BankMail message has been received. To read the Message you will need to log in to Bankwest Online Banking.

View the Bank Mail Inbox

Select Bank Mail from the Customer Service group.
Sort the messages as required.

Read a Message

Select Bank Mail from the Customer Service group.
Click on the message you wish to read.
Click Cancel to return to the inbox.

Send a Message

Select Bank Mail from the Customer Service group.
Click Compose.
Enter the recipient of the message in the To field.
Enter a Subject.
Enter the text of the message.
Click Send.

Delete a Message

Select Bank Mail from the Customer Service group.
Select the message and click Delete.

View Bank Mail Folders

Select Bank Mail from the Customer Service group.
Select the folder from the Folder drop-down list, OR;
Click Folders in the left-hand menu.

Move a Message to a Folder

Select Bank Mail from the Customer Service group.
Select the message and click Move to Folder.
Select the folder you wish to move the message to.

Create a Bank Mail Folder

Select Bank Mail from the Customer Service group.
Click Create Folder.
Enter the folder's name.
Click OK.

Delete a Bank Mail Folder

Select Bank Mail from the Customer Service group.
Select the folder you wish to delete from the Folder drop-down list.
Click Delete Folder.

Note: Folders can only be deleted when they are empty.
